Students at the Boston International Newcomers Academy are penning visions of the future. They will be using David Wallace-Wells’ "The Uninhabitable Earth" as inspiration for their upcoming dystopian fiction writing project.
826 Boston is looking for an author to speak to students about science fiction writing on December 5, from 9:45 AM-2:30 PM, with an hour lunch break in the middle.

Mission Statement
826 Boston is a nonprofit writing, tutoring, and publishing organization where students in grades K-12 and beyond can share their stories, amplify their voices, and develop as leaders in school and in life.
Description
Our services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. With this understanding in mind, we provide drop-in tutoring, field trips, after-school workshops, in-schools tutoring, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications.
All of our free programs seek to strengthen each student's power to express ideas effectively, creatively, confidently, and in his or her individual voice.
