This position must love cats! The position coordinates the volunteers at our cat habitat. Must be someone who feels comfortable in a leadership role. Prepare schedule of volunteers and post to group website. E-mail copy of schedule to PetSmart. Arrange for substitutes when volunteers can't make it to their shift. Fill in as necessary. Respond to inquires from people interested in volunteering. Be the liaison with PetSmart managers. Track volunteer attendance. Oversee supplies in the habitat. Check bedding and wash if necessary. Meet with potential adopters and do adoption transactions once approved. Log cats in and out of the habitat. Train new volunteers
We will provide training and assistance for the volunteer interested in becoming a Habitat Coordinator.

Description
This organization is the product of the hard work and dedication of a group of individuals united by our love for animals and the belief that we can and should do something to improve their treatment in the world. In Southern California, countless dogs, cats and other animals end up in shelters or out on the streets daily. They are abandoned or discarded for any number of reasons, but the volunteers of A Pawsitive Approach (and we are ALL volunteers) believe that this can and must change!
