Come join our Free Income Tax Assistance (FITA) family as we strive to bridge the gap of poverty! You will serve side by side with compassionate, experienced IRS certified volunteers! NO EXPERIENCE necessary as training is provided with support of our seasoned returning preparers.
Not so sure you want to prepare taxes? Volunteers are needed as Intake Specialist to greet clients and assist them as needed. It's a fun, family environment, with high impact results as you help families keep more of their hard earned dollars in their pockets!

Description
The Jackson County United Way Volunteer Action Center was created in November of 2010 to connect the volunteers of Jackson County to the agencies who are in need of their skills and services.
