RATS from 2017
Train with other motivated River Advocates!

Our rivers and our ecosystems need us to stand up for them like never before!

Read more to learn how you can be that someone...

We are recruiting advocates from across California for the RATS Resistance! Our rivers are threatened by the Trump Administration and Members of Congress who are pushing an anti-environmental agenda. We can’t let them get away with this.

Join us in the RATS Resistance!

The River Advocacy Training School (RATS) trains people like you to advocate for rivers. The RATS Resistance is focused on reaching people at the community level. RATS organize volunteers to help with neighborhood walks, register new voters, attend town hall meetings and generate local media.

To prepare you, we offer a 4-day intensive training to teach you about the issues, how to talk about them and how to activate others to help build a vibrant river protection community. FOR continues to support your efforts during the 5-month program.

The best advocates are people who are fired up about the current political situation, are ready to take action to move the needle and are unafraid to talk about the issues facing California.

Learn more about this vital program and apply today! Applications due December 4 th.

Know someone who could be our next River Advocate? Share this with them and tell them why.
