Who we are:
Doodles Academy comprises a group of volunteer artists and educators who believe that regular exposure to art is crucial in order for the next generation to develop into reflective and adaptable adults.
We offer a high-quality, comprehensive art curriculum that is tuition-free and distributed online. By offering structure and guidance as well as an adaptable program that can fit into any number of educational contexts or classroom objectives, we make providing a high-quality art education easy for any educator.
The Project:
We are in our third fiscal year. While our program is free and streaming online, beginning next school year we will be offering additional offerings to help fund our mission. We're going to start with some downloadable 'Project Kits': a year-long curriculum, as well as a kit with four heritage month projects.
Each Project Kit will be a fully-contained teaching kits available for any of our users to purchase. These will contain downloadable lesson plans and videos, assessments, vocab pages as well as links to supplies, books, etc. In other words, a comprehensive package for teachers wanting to teach the projects.
What we need:
We need help developing a marketing strategy and plan for the back to school season (Aug/September). We're also going to be looking for additional Marketing help with additional components (Supply Kits and Training Modules) in January.

Description
Doodles Academy provides an online curriculum that includes video examples, lesson plans, supply lists, and links to Common Core and Visual Art standards. We make it easy for educators of all types and experience levels to bring a comprehensive and open-ended curriculum to their students.
Our projects allow room for every child to tell her own story. We provide lessons that scaffold skills and ideas, challenging students to think complexly, but chunking it down so that they don't become overwhelmed. Discussion and exploration is built into each project, encouraging students to find their own creative solutions.
