Refugees arriving in the United States typically do not have the ability to drive nor have knowledge of the transportation systems (be it buses, taxis, etc.). As a Transportation Training Volunteer, you will assist refugees in learning how to drive and navigate the bus system in Lincoln.
Requirements: Potential volunteers must pass a criminal background check. Volunteers may also need to provide a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for a DMV check. This position is great for volunteers available to commit to bi-weekly or weekly tutoring sessions
