Come be a part of The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County's annual Gingerbread Kids event! On December 15th, families affected by epilepsy come together to celebrate the holidays. The children create gingerbread houses, listen to music and watch a holiday movie, participate in expressive arts, and just enjoy being kids! Parents are in another room listening to a panel of expert speakers and building relationships with one another.
As a volunteer, you will be in the kids room helping around 100 children make gingerbread houses and express themselves creatively. A great opportunity for those who love kids, are interested in working with youth who have co-occurring disorders, and those who want to give back to the epilepsy community!
If you are a part of a club, team, or class that needs service hours, this is a great opportunity!
At the Epilepsy Foundation, all of our services are FREE, and volunteers help us continue to serve the more than 50,000 San Diegans affected by epilepsy. Come be a part of it!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
