The Sudanese American Medical Association is committed to promoting and supporting the health and wellbeing of our community by delivering superb, sustainable and measurable medical services, education, training and capacity building. In Africa most women prefer home delivery by midwives than going to a health facility. Training and supporting midwives with clean delivery kits will ensure safe delivery and will save mothers when experiencing complications during delivery. SAMA has been supporting midwives training and providing them with kits since 2016. We have achieved significant milestones and need a content writer to help us portray the impact made. We also support health service in Sudan with medical supplies and equipment where needed.
SAMA is committed to promote and support the health and wellbeing of our community by delivering superb, sustainable and measurable medical services, education, training and capacity building.
SAMA aims to develop and maintain the highest professional and ethical standards of medical practice and health care to those uninsured or underinsured through managing a primary health center in a rural area in Khartoum. Our 55% of patients receive free high standard medical care. SAMA's women's health program is training midwives to reduce maternal death and ensure they have clean birth kits to deliver babies. Through the annual surgical mission SAMA is improving the lives of many people who need advanced surgeries and can not afford to travel outside their home country to receive the care they deserve.
