Mission Statement
To provide supportive housing and promote stability to diverse homeless families and individuals by utilizing community resources, case management and life skills training.
Description
Imagine if you lost your home tomorrow. How would your life change?
Those who live at The Inn Between know what it's like to face homelessness and are grateful for the safe, warm, affordable home it provides.
The Inn Between was established in 1993 and continues to be a leading organization in the Boulder County St. Vrain Valley providing safe shelter and supportive services for a very diverse population facing homelessness. Our Supportive Housing Program has four components and clients housed under each component receive supportive services and follow the same general program guidelines.
Transitional Program provides safe, affordable housing for up to 24 months
Permanent Housing Program supports low-income elderly and/or disabled individuals with long term or permanent supportive housing
Emergency Housing Program holds aside 4 units to temporarily house those in crisis within 48 hours of an identified need
Student Incentive Program (SIP) addresses youth homelessness. Students receive no-cost room and board as long as a full-time schedule, grades, and attendance are in good standing.
In 2016, we housed 278 individuals; 116 of those were children residing at The Inn. 81% o f households that successfully completed the program attained stable housing upon exit, finding either permanently subsidized or market rate housing.
Help us end the cycle of homelessness in our community!
