During special events volunteers are needed to staff a variety of educational booths, children's craft activities and information tables to acquaint attendees with the Refuge. Dependability to show up on time, work the entire shift and handle high and low visitor flow required. Events take place on Refuge lands and all over metro Detroit.

Description
The Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge is located along the lower Detroit River and western shoreline of Lake Erie, just 20 miles south of Detroit and 50 miles north of Toledo, Ohio. Situated in a major metropolitan area, the refuge’s location is truly unique.
