We need your help to continue our work to save endangered sea turtles from poachers. Our website is our only avenue to reach donors; your help is invaluable to us. We have been a non-profit for almost 18 years and are truly an all-volunteer organization.
We raise money to help pay the salaries of turtle patrollers who protect sea turtles and their eggs from poachers. We are seeking a volunteer familiar with WordPress to work on occasional updates (if you have time, we might want your creative input). It would be great if you also know SEO as we do need more visitors to our website. We would like a year commitment. Visit www.saveturtles.org
I am also posting a position to help us with our CafePress Shop http://www.cafepress.com/saveturtles
We have great graphics on many products but need to get people inside of our shop. When they just shop at the Cafepress’ general market place, we are lucky to earn a $1.00; whereas, inside our shop, we can earn $5.00 per product. That makes a great difference as to how many turtles we can help save.I look forward to hearing from you for either position.

Mission Statement
Save the Turtles is a true all-volunteer grass-roots organization. Since our conception, no one has received any salaries, and the donations we receive are dedicated to the direct protection of endangered sea turtles and their eggs. Although we have assisted in different regions over the last 20 years, in 2022 we are sending grants to projects along the Caribbean Ocean in Costa Rica and the Pacific Ocean in Nicaragua where poaching is extreme. Our mission includes providing financial support to the local turtle patrollers who protect the beach at night, a dangerous job. We send grants whenever possible for their challenging work. Being able to provide salaries also benefits the locals, in the small communities, having a more sustainable life ..
