Starting Monday, Nov. 20th at 7AM to 4PM, our goal is to Assemble & Distribute 1,000 READY-TO-COOK TURKEY DINNER BASKETS to NEEDY FAMILIES in Los Angeles County through our partnering network.

Choose FIRST SHIFT of 7am to 11am

or SECOND SHIFT 11am to 4pm

Location: Center of Hope, 55 E. Villa St. @ N. Raymond Ave., Pasadena, CA 91103. (we are using the church building, with plenty of free parking in lot).

Arrive the time of your preferred shift, no need to pre-register. You may also volunteer for the entire day, or a few hours in-between, whatever fits your schedule!

BRING WITH YOU Food Donations to this event, helping feed families & children. BRING CANNED, BOXED, PACKAGED & NON-PERISHABLES including: Frozen TURKEYS, HAMS, canned meats, packaged butter, stuffing, sweet potatoes, vegetables, green beans, corn, gravy, Instant mashed potatoes, gravy mixes, soups, Durkee onions, cranberry sauce, Can fruit & pie fillings, miniature marshmallows, mincemeat, pecans, walnuts, raisins, pumpkin, pickles, relishes, salad dressings and packaged juices. WE GREATLY NEED BANANA BOXES TO USE AS FOOD BASKETS, SO STOP BY YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD GROCER'S PRODUCE DEPT. AND ASK FOR AS MANY FREE BOXES, YOU CAN BRING WITH YOU TO OUR EVENT*.

Distribution of baskets by teams of Volunteers with vehicles, WHO CHOOSE TO,will be to designated locations. Inquire at Event.

Activity is open to all able Adults, Groups, Families and Youth with parental permission and/or supervision. Volunteer release forms will be available. There is no age restriction, however very young children who would be unable to participate, consider your safety and of those in your care. Wear comfortable clothes & shoes, bring your own bottled water or soft drink.

Food donations accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at CENTER OF HOPE location, continuing through December 21st.

We will need volunteers for upcoming Christmas Events to help us assemble & distribute FOOD & GIFT BASKETS FOR FAMILIES. Sign-ups will be posted VolunteerMatch.org.
