Help our team provide support to the families who've lost loved ones. Volunteers will work with the bereavement team to help in supporting families through a difficult time and letting families know we are thinking of them and share their sorrow. Volunteers will assist with monthly follow up condolence calls and monthly bereavement letters.

We are seeking excellent listeners who are empathetic and have a knack of connecting with people 1 on 1.

Training: Social Worker/Chaplin, and Volunteer Coordinator will all provide bereavement and hospice training. We will cover phone script(s), commonly asked questions or topics along with tips on how to handle grief.

Commitment: Once a week/1-3 hours per week.

Requirement: 18 yrs.+, Background Check, in-person and online training.
