MAP 8th Grade is Memphis Apprentice Program (MAP)’s new after school-based tutoring/mentoring program for 8th graders. We operate on Mondays and Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:000 PM at Orange Mound Community Center and Douglass Community Center. We operate Wednesday and Thursday at Hickory Hill Community Center from 3:45-5:45 and Pine Hill Community Center from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Expectations:
- Pass a Background Check and fingerprinting.
- Choose a site and a subject
- Commit to helping students from 4:15-5:25 at the chosen site
- Each day, MAP staff will pair you with students based on the subject area students want help with.
- There will an opportunity to mentor the student as well.
