We need help in order to find homes!!

Would you like to make a difference to the life of a cat or kitten? We are in need of volunteers who are willing to help us take care of the cats and kittens hoping to find their forever loving homes!

We are looking for volunteers for our PALS Adoption Center at the PetValu store located in Springfield, PA. Responsibilities of the volunteer include basic cleaning of cat cages, playing and exercising the cats and kittens, and providing them with fresh food and water.

The adoption center shifts include morning and evening care. The store opens at 9:00 am Monday through Saturday (10:00 am on Sunday) and closes at 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday (6:00 pm on Sunday). The volunteers are asked to commit to a one to two hour shift between the morning hours of 9:00 am (10:00 am on Sunday) and Noon and the evening hours between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm (4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday). That shift can be once a week, once a month, or more frequently. Any assistance is more than welcome.

Training will be provided. We welcome individuals as well as teams of parents and a teenage child. Please complete this brief volunteer application so that we can reach out to you!

*Volunteers must be 18 years old. Teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent.
