About Proof Alliance

Mission Statement

As MOFAS and now as Proof Alliance, our mission is to eliminate disability caused by alcohol consumption during pregnancy and to improve the quality of life for those living with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) throughout Minnesota.

Description

MOFAS has been rebranded as Proof Alliance. Proof Alliance is a national leader in promoting awareness about the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure and advocacy for individuals and families impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). We’re expanding our influence by disseminating our signature programs nationally and creating an alliance of partners and experts in the field.

Since 1998, we have had a dual purpose: providing education on the impact of alcohol use during pregnancy, which can encompass a lifetime of physical, mental and behavioral disabilities, and championing efforts to enable individuals living with an FASD to reach their full potential. Proof Alliance works to eliminate birth defects caused by alcohol consumption during pregnancy and to improve the quality of life of the individuals and families affected by FASD by providing resources and support. By building partnerships and improving services, Proof Alliance generates awareness of the importance of alcohol-free pregnancies.
