About

Are you passionate about empowering youth to reach their full potential? Mentor a child with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) in our Ready to Achieve Mentoring Program (RAMP) !

The Ready to Achieve Mentoring Program (RAMP) is a high-tech, career-focused mentoring program for youth ages 12-17 with known or suspected FASD. The RAMP model incorporates group, peer, and one-on-one mentoring to promote the successful transition of youth to employment, continues learning opportunities, and independent living. Youth participate in weekly career preparation-focused group meetings, including peer-supported goal setting and exploration of careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

The mentoring program uses adult volunteers to commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to young people. It is not necessary that you have/had a career in the STEM field, but it would be really amazing!
Many of our youth are interested in welding, IT, rollercoaster design, singing, neonatology, becoming a professional athlete, architecture, and more.
