Folks who have court-ordered or other community service hours to complete can earn a few or many hours by helping the Friends of Roosevelt School Foundation with a school parking fundraiser. However, EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
Roosevelt Middle School is next to the Zoo and the Foundation parks overflow cars on the school campus on busy days and request a donation with funds going to support student enrichment programs including clubs, teachers' classroom needs, field trips and more. No actual driving is required.
We have multiple parking events scheduled, and you can sign up for 8 hours on one day, and/or 16 hours on Dec 2 and 3
And if you need more, you can bring a friend and earn his or her hours as well.
So send me an e-mail and I’ll direct you to our sign-up page. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization and we can give you a letter certifying your volunteer hours as you "clock out".
