Come serve with FIGHT2FEED November 23rd 2017 for our Thanksgiving Feast Mission at Cornerstone Community Outreach! We will cook and share 1500 servings of a Thanksgiving Feast and all the fixings with the Cornerstone Community and our hungry friends in need!

Closed Toed Shoes with Non Slip Soles Slacks, Jeans or Long Pants, No Tank Tops
For Inclement Weather Please Bring Layers of Clothing:
Jackets, Long Sleeve Shirts, etc. be prepared for Inclement Weather Conditions
All our volunteers will be asked to wear hairnets and gloves, that we provide. You can also wear a Baseball Cap or other Hat.
Our cooking and serving volunteers will be asked to comply with our Fight2Feed Feeding Mission Standards.
We are also looking for volunteers that want to do street mission with us. We want to train people for this part of our missions. If you would like to bring your vehicle, then we would love to show you how we feed our hungry friends on the street. We always practice safety by having at least 2-4 people in each street team.
The time line for street mission varies. It may be after we serve dinner or during. So please keep in mind, that it may go after 3pm.

Fighting hunger with rescued food and mobilizing it to hungry friends in need.
Description
We are the charitable organization on a mission to put an end to hunger and reduce food waste...starting with our own COMMUNITIES. We began our journey on March 20, 2014 in Chicago, IL to make change happen in our neighborhoods one block at a time. We have to date served over 200,000 meals and rescue over 20,000 pounds of food per month. We are a 100% volunteer run organization with chapters in Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA and Kansas City, MO. Our goal is to have a kitchen to call home to rescue more food and get it to those in need. We are funded by events like Culinary Fight Club, being the beneficiary of local businesses like The Bull Grill Food Truck and Givsly along with local festivals have supported our mission. Our funds go right back serving our meals. Fight2Feed is about community and pulling together to do something to make change happen. It has been an amazing journey and look forward to spreading our wings to more communities across the county. #FeedItForward
