Volunteers in this role help animals awaiting loving, permanent homes by photographing them, allowing them to be featured on the MHS website. Volunteers will photograph adoptable animals at our Detroit Center for Animal Care Center, outdoors, and/or indoors as well as edit and upload photos to website.
Volunteers must be comfortable working with a variety of animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, etc.) and be patient, tolerant and a good team player!
This role requires basic internet skills, digital photography skills, as well as a camera capable of producing high quality photos, DSLR or equivalent performance mirror less and have flash capable of bounce operation. Editing skills include cropping, adjustment and resizing.
