Want to make an impact this year? Do you want to do something that is satisfying and of great service to your community? Then become an MCC Family Gift Connection Volunteer!
Family Gift Connection is MCC’s donor-based holiday gift drive. Each year, we give gifts to approximately 400-500 children through the gift drive. The children receiving gifts are all from the families that we serve in the community.
Volunteers are needed at our main office in Center City to help us with admin and operational support. Volunteers help us with matching families to donors, sorting and wrapping gifts, delivering gifts to our clients, and etc. The minimum qualifications are:
- A desire to help those in need
- Basic computer skills needed
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
The start date for this volunteer opportunity is 09/24/2018, but we are flexible. This volunteer will support us twice a week (4 hour shifts) between the hours of 9am to 5pm. Volunteers will receive training for this role. For more information, call Samantha Jeune, Development and Events Coordinator at sjeune@maternitycarecoalition.org or at 267-514-6675.

Mission Statement
Maternity Care Coalition's (MCC) mission is to improve maternal and child health and well being through the collaborative efforts of individuals, families, providers, and communities in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Description
MCC works to reduce infant mortality and improve maternal and child health and well being through outreach to high-risk communities to identify, connect with and assist pregnant women and families with prenatal, well baby, and other needed services. MCC's signature program, the MOMobile, is a community-based outreach and family support program. The MOMobile uses mobile outreach vans (MOM-mobiles) and door-to-door canvassing to help pregnant women in neighborhoods known to have high rates of infant mortality, teenage pregnancy, poverty, child abuse, and neglect, or limited knowledge of community resources and children's health insurance programs.
