Did you know, a wish is not simply a wish. Independent research has proven that the impact of a wish improves medical outcomes for wish kids bravely frightening against their illnesses? Last year we granted over 700 wishes in Western and Metro NY.

Wish Granters grant the child’s one true wish and are essential to our commitment to bring hope, strength and joy to children battling critical illnesses. A wish is not simply a wish. In the fight against critical illness, wishes spark renewed strength and encouragement for every child and family on their journey.

A majority of the service is done via phone, email or text. However, to meet the child and their wish family, you will be paired up with another volunteer to meet them in their home. Currently there are many children living in Brooklyn and Bronx waiting for volunteers to help fulfill their wish.
