Our Board of Directors is in need of a new member to take on the responsibilities of the Treasurer role. Here are the responsibilities:
- Review monthly reports from the business coordinator
- Review the 990 tax return and sign
- Report financial information to the Board using reports from the CPA.
- Analyze financials for trends
- Support grant proposals with needed financial information
- Become a signatory on corporate bank accounts
- Help with preparation of the annual budget
- Assist with audits
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President or Board of Directors
- Distribute financials to Board members on week prior to Board meetings with notes regarding discrepancies/questionable entries
Board meetings are once a month but fundraising efforts are on-going.
