ORGANIZATION: Three Winds Church PDX

Title: Videographer Coordinator (volunteer)

Reports to: Lead Pastor

The Videographer Coordinator will work closely with the Lead Pastor and Three Winds Church staff on a variety of digital and video projects. The Coordinator will c reate videos and manage the church’s YouTube channel that are relevant to our community. He/she will conduct research to produce relevant video content to help build our YouTube channel.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, shooting, and edit high-quality original material, following established visual tone and style guidelines, that present the church's products, services, and/or facilities in the best possible light
  • Develop original content for social media platforms and church’s website(s)
  • Planning and execution of photo/video shoots and management of content production timelines
  • Post-production tasks
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Time Commitment - 15-20 hours/week (2-3 days/week)
  • Intermediate to expert experience using software including Microsoft Office, AVID, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Reslove, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Hitfilm Express, and Pro-Tools experience a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years media production experience
  • Proven experience in video recording equipment and processes including lighting and audio best practices
  • Strong knowledge of video and audio editing software and systems
  • Knowledge of video and audio compression and encoding methods
  • Ability to develop and execute concepts timely and with a small budget
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take feedback
  • Experience with social platforms, content optimization and specs
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web development, production etc
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communications skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet targeted goals while balancing multiple projects
  • Ability to identify ways to increase results and communicate opportunities
  • Ability to perform well in a team environment while being self-managed when appropriate
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality of Three Winds Church staff, volunteers, families, and donors
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of the organization and/or video production
