The Thanksgiving-in-a-Box Food Drive is an annual interfaith community food drive in Pelham, NY. As one of the participating churches, Community Church of the Pelhams will receive donations and gather together the necessary canned goods and other non-perishibles needed to make Thanksgiving boxes. This volunteer event is to help pack the items into boxes. Later, Family Services of Westchester will bring the boxes to needy families in our community.

Can't make this volunteer event, but still want to get involved? Click "I want to help" to let us know you would like to put together a box on your own. We'll provide you with a list of items and a box to put them in, and you can assemble the box at home instead. (Filled boxes must be received by Tuesday, November 21st.)

Want to help increase the number of boxes we can put together? Click "I want to help" and tell us you'd like to pledge $50 to sponsor one box. We will contact you back with donation information.

Mission Statement

We are a community committed to following the teaching and example of Jesus through our worship, fellowship, and mission. We believe in the healing power of humor and the transformational power of love. We believe in being responsible stewards of God's green earth. We try to bear in mind Micah's wise words: "What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God?" We invite people of all backgrounds to join us as we seek a deeper sense of God's love. Our doors and hearts are open to welcoming all God's people. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here with us.
