Our ALF Desert Southwest Division is participating in the 22 nd Annual Arizona Asian Festival the weekend of December 2 nd and 3 rd. The event will be held from 10am - 5pm both days at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall located: 3939 N 75 th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
This will be the first year we have been involved with this festival and would like to provide free onsite Hepatitis C testing for event attendees. Additionally, we see this as an opportunity to collect attendee contact information to promote future educational presentations centered around Hepatitis B.
We are looking for a few volunteers to run our booth where we’ll provide information on liver disease.
Since 10am - 5pm is a long shift, booth volunteers will be needed from 9:45am - 5:15pm. The shift for booth volunteers can be split into 9:45am - 1pm and 1pm - 5:15pm.

Description
The American Liver Foundation - Desert Southwest Division runs programs and events throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah. The goal is to reach the community to provide education and support through school presentations, free educational conferences, free Hepatitis testing at events and health fairs, and support groups. Now that we are facing a "virtual reality", we are seeking volunteers to help us with various upcoming programs, including educational events, fundraising galas, and projects.
