We put together a Potluck meal for our guests and families that will be staying with us during the Christmas holiday due to medical crisis. We want to provide them with the comforts of home as much as possible and part of that is giving them a little Christmas cheer. Our meal is put together on Perfect Potluck for individuals to sign up.
If you are looking for a way to give back for Christmas and would like to donate an item towards the meal on Christmas please visit our perfect potluck link and see what is needed for the meal! http://www.perfectpotluck.com/meals.php?t=ZAEK8506

Donations can be dropped off on the 23rd, 24th or 25th. We can keep items refrigerated or frozen as needed. If you have any questions please call Bryn @ 704.376.0060 or email bheinicke@hhocharlotte.org
We are so grateful for volunteers and wouldn't be able to provide what we do for the families without volunteers!!

Mission Statement
Hospitality House of Charlotte provides the comforts of home for families of seriously ill loved ones by offering affordable accommodations in the heart of Charlotte’s medial community.
Description
In 1985 our first house opened. It was named MMAE'S Inn Hospitality House after the Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and Endowment's generous help in getting the house built. A second HH was opened in St Johns Baptist church in 1992. In March, 2008 we closed these 2 houses and moved into the house we are in today.
Our new house has 22 bedrooms, a sunroom, well-equipped with a stocked kitchen and dining area, a children's area with age-appropriate toys, a computer station, wireless access and game room with lending library. Each floor features, laundry facilities and portable cribs for little ones. We can sleep 60 guests a night. We are full many nights and we have a waiting list. Our guests stay an average of 5 nights and we have about 225 guests a month. Each room costs us $60 a night, we ask our guests to pay a portion ($40) of the cost for their room, and we raise funds through grants, and donations. Over the 30 years, our 100+ volunteers and staff have greeted guests from 49 states and over 38 countries and over 56,000 guests have walked through our doors.
