Are you compassionate and Burbank Hospice Care is looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers who would like to give back to the community. We have opportunities for either an administrative or indirect patient-care volunteers. Administrative volunteers assist in daily operating duties such as filing, clerical paperwork, organization, etc. Administrative volunteers must be ages 14 and above and have reliable transportation. Patient-care volunteers provide indirect care; they must also have reliable transportation but must be age 18 or above. Patient-care volunteers provide a warm presence, companionship, and emotional support. Volunteers come from all walks of life and are joined by the mutual desire to provide assistance within the hospice care environment. We provide orientation and training prior to any assignments.
