Are you a veteran with heart? Do you want to make a difference in your community or use your talents and gifts to benefit others? Embrace Hospice needs you! Come help support our veteran hospice patients.
As a volunteer, you can:
1. Spend time with veteran patients.
Share your stories. Listen to theirs. Play music, get some fresh air outside, or read to our patients. Just be a friend and a friendly presence.
2. Support the families of veteran hospice patients.
All you need to do is visit with the patient. This offers family members the chance to have family time, run errands, or do whatever they don't have the time to do otherwise.
We'll happily work with you to fit whatever time you can give into your schedule.
