Make a big impact in a little amount of time. Meet Earl!
ORGANIZATION: Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities
Please visit the new page to apply.
Meet Earl! Earl enjoys going out to eat, going to the movies, watching TV, and going to church on Sundays. He's looking for a mature, male Community Friend to hang out with and talk on the phone for guidance and support.
We all want a chance to learn, grow, have fun and share our talents with others, don't we? People with developmental disabilities share our enjoyment of these activities just like typical people. Unfortunately, transportation is a barrier for many people with developmental disabilities. You can open up unlimited opportunities by providing companionship and a ride!
Become a Community Friend Volunteer and help someone who is looking to get out more. Watch a movie, visit a museum or attend a concert, a ball game, or simply go to lunch or dinner. Outings vary from as little as once a month to weekly and everyone pays for their own expenses.
