IAWW community program is seeking Family and Immigration lawyers who can volunteer to help manage legal problems between persons with familial relationships. These issues can include paternity, custody , child support, divorce and immigration related queries. They may file legal documents, participate in mediation sessions, and offer advice to clients.
The volunteers can choose to be present at the North Bellevue community center, Bellevue on Thursdays (either every Thursday or 2 Thursdays in a month) between 6pm-8pm to meet clients and offer legal advice. In case the volunteer is not able to come to a physical location, support over phone is appreciated.
