Description
Forge Boy's Program supports the holistic development of middle and high school boys in the West Grove area by providing a positive community where they can discuss critical topics focused on personal development and what it means to fully step into their identity as men, through bi-monthly discussion groups, workshops, guest speakers, and trips. It has been our goal to create a platform where boys can explore careers, develop skills, and feel empowered to be confident leaders in school, within their families, among their peers, and challenges these young men to take responsibility for their future.
Volunteer Needs
The success of Forge hinges on these young men forming meaningful relationships with male role models who can come alongside them in our monthly activities and workshops but also motivate and encourage them during this transformative stage of their lives. These are men who would model for our students what manliness truly looks like.
We are hoping for Hispanic and non-Hispanic to be a guiding force in our young men's lives.

Mission Statement
Our Mission is to Empower Youth to Pursue their Potential Academically, Relationally, and Spiritually.
Description
We are a non profit after school program that operates in the Kennett Square and Avondale communities. We serve 6th through 12 grade students providing them with a structured program where they can thrive as individuals and find encouragement and support from staff and volunteers.
Our daily program includes a set hour for homework completion where we make sure to have staff and volunteers on hand to help students with any questions, essays or projects they may have. In addition, we provide a time with carefully designed hour-long activities that engage students with new skills that may become passions or potential careers. These opportunities enhance the time students have for much social space and recreation, which give staff and volunteers the opportunity to form trusted and impacting relationships with each of the students who come through our doors.
Volunteers are the critical piece that allows our students to pursue their potential. Your unique experiences, talents + personality unlock our students in ways no one else can. It is only with the involvement of volunteers that our students receive the individual mentoring that changes their lives or the academic support that makes success in school a possibility. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our community and impact youth!
