Digital Volunteer
Want to do good and get some awesome things in return? We are in need of some digital volunteers to help share the mission of New Hope Children, so we can save more lives. It only takes a couple hours a week, can be done remotely and can help save lives!
Requirements
-Ability to meet with a church or other potential partner
-Internet connection
-Social media presence
-1 hour a week, flexible time
Duties
-Post about New Hope Children once a week
-Set up meetings with your church, work or other groups about partnering with New Hope Children
-Host a fundraiser such as a bake sale, online birthday fundraiser on Facebook or sponsorship for running a marathon
-Invite friend list to like New Hope Children
-Submit an evergreen blog once a month for potential use on the New Hope blog.

Those who fulfill the listed duties for one year will receive:
-A lefter of recommendation
-A free New Hope bracelet from Kenya
-Choice of one free merchandise item
-Among first group of people to apply for trips to Kenya (a spot is not guaranteed).
In addition to the requirements listed, we are always looking for people to volunteer in our finance, design, communications and operations efforts too. We also have internships available, so please let us know if any of those areas are also of interest to you.
About the Organization
Serving God by loving youth living in the periphery of their society, who had no prior hope. We take steps to end the cycle of poverty by empowering them with life skills and education, through local leadership and sustainable projects.

Description
New Hope Children is a 501(c)(3), Christian based, non-profit organization. We rescue impoverished and abused youth from the streets and landfills in Kenya. We provide them with education/counseling, food, shelter, and medical needs. Our mission is to restore our children's lives, while assisting them in becoming healthy, productive, contributing members of their society.
New Hope Children helps troubled youth find their strength and self-confidence, gives them a foothold towards a better life and empowers them to make positive choices to become educated and fruitful individuals. We believe education is a key component of alleviating poverty long-term; we also believe these vulnerable youth deserve a fighting chance, hope for their future, and a way to be part of the bigger picture of pulling their community out of poverty.
