Literacy Connects Intensive Project has a position for one 300-hour AmeriCorps Member to serve as a reading coach and program assistant at Los Niños Elementary School. The AmeriCorps member will serve as a reading coach and get to support early childhood literacy int he Tucson Community. Upon serving 300 hours in the position, the AmeriCorps member will also be eligible for a Segal Education Award that can be applied to tuition costs or student loans. Arizona Serve connects passionate people with transformative community projects to fight poverty in Arizona. We believe that our communities are safer, healthier and more prosperous when we know each other, help each other and work with each other. By doing these things, we believe that communities are able to meet their own needs and create their own visions for a sustainable and just future.
We place AmeriCorps State and VISTA members in the Tucson and Prescott communities on a diverse set of projects. We offer full time and part time positions that come with a Segal Education Award that can be used for tuition costs or to repay student loans. Some positions also have a living allowance or stipend.
