Tax preparers and Virtual tax site helpers are needed throughout Montana and Idaho for RDI's Tax Help Montana Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. These individuals work one-on-one with clients to either prepare simple federal and state returns or help clients through an intake process and scan their documents to be sent to a preparation tax site. Candidates must have good communication skills, are proficient on a computer, are willing and able to get trained to get IRS-certified to the Basic or Advanced level, and have compassion for low-income individuals. Days and hours of operation vary by tax site.
