You can make a profound impact on the lives of our community’s vulnerable children. As an Amara volunteer, your skills and experiences will help us meet the needs of our kids and families every day.
The first step to get started as an Amara volunteer is to attend one of our upcoming Volunteer Information Meetings held at the Amara office in Seattle. Our upcoming opportunities are:
- Monday, May 14 from 6 to 7 pm
- Monday, June 11 from 6 to 7 pm
- Thursday, July 12 from 6 to 7 pm
- Sunday, July 22 from 10 to 11 am

Amara offers a variety of different opportunities for volunteers who are 21 years or older. We are dedicated to providing child-focused training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.
Amara Volunteer Meetings are usually held twice a month at the Amara office.
