You can make a profound impact on the lives of our community’s vulnerable children. As an Amara volunteer, your skills and experiences will help us meet the needs of our kids and families every day.

The first step to get started as an Amara volunteer is to attend one of our upcoming Volunteer Information Meetings held at Bay Terrance Community Center in Tacoma. Our next opportunities are:

  • Thursday, January 11, 2018, 6 - 7 pm
  • Saturday, February 10, 2018, 10 - 11 am
  • Thursday, February 22, 2018, 6 - 7 pm

Amara offers a variety of different opportunities for volunteers who are 21 years or older. We are dedicated to providing child-focused training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.

Amara Volunteer Information Meetings are usually held twice a month at the Bay Terrance Community Center or at the Tacoma Amara Office.
