About

Do you enjoy working with children? We are looking for a volunteer to assist the Children's Advocate at YWCA's Pathways for Women housing program and at Trinity Place Apartments, both located within minutes of each other in Lynnwood.

The Children's Advocate Assistants will help provide childcare, create activity groups, and special events for children of all ages while their parents attend required classes. These activity groups will help to enhance the child's interpersonal, educational, social skills, creative ability, and physical health.

A volunteer will also assist the advocate in providing childcare for other YWCA events when available. These include themed or YWCA hosted sponsor events. Groups and events are for the children in our programs and at times their parents. Some examples of this include birthday celebrations, back to school events and holiday events.
