I'm just one person......how do I make change?

Many people are thinking what can I do to make change? The first step is reaching out to help one another.We may all at sometime in life need help and support. What better way to make a positive impact than to let another person know you are about them. You might think I can't do that or I might not be any good at that type of thing or I have never done anything like this, so I don't know what to expect.
If you can get to a person's home in Washington County, pass a criminal background check, share 2-3 hours of your time 2-3 times a month, enjoy getting to know someone, make sure they are safe and do the same thing you would do with a family member or friend, we will do the rest to make sure you are ready and that this is a good match for you. If your still not sure we can have you shadow another volunteer to see if this is the right spot for you to share your time. We need men, women, couples and 2 person teams to spend time with a child with a disability or a senior with memory loss or who is just frail.
If each one of us reaches out to help another just imagine how strong we can be.
