Become a community health ambassador for Newton!

Come learn about the multitude of community health efforts the Health and Human Services engages in and then help spread the word by conducting community outreach with residents, businesses and nonprofit organizations. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with 5-15 hours a month that they want to devote to public service.

Ambassadors will engage in activities such as:

• Meet with the leaders of a religious congregation to let them know about resources in the community that might benefit their members
• Staff a table at a community event & have informal conversations with passersby about what’s available in the City that might be of interest
• Convene a group of nonprofit staff to brainstorm points of potential collaboration and increased impact.
