Certified Pet Therapy Dogs are needed to bring smiles to patients!!! As a Hospice Pet Therapy Volunteer you and your pet can brighten the day of so many by visiting facilities in your own neighborhood. Our patients live in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties...So we are sure to have patients near you!
Volunteers must own a Certified Therapy Pet and must produce documented evidence of annual reputable therapy pet organization membership and documentation of veterinary visits attesting to good behavior, good health and current vaccinations. Full hospice training is provided free of charge without the need to travel to the Mount Laurel office. Offer the gift of unconditional love and emotional support to help hospice patients along their final journey. Become a Pet Therapy Volunteer for Caring Hospice Services of South Jersey.
