Since 1984, Park Center, a non-profit organization, has provided programs and services for adults with mental illness and substance use disorders in the Nashville community. We are currently looking for someone interested in facilitating a drum circle for a small group of our members (the individuals that attend our day program). The volunteer needs to be someone who is dedicated, energetic, and compassionate and feels comfortable working with a population of individuals with mental illnesses ranging from depression to schizophrenia. The commitment required would be at least once per week, for 30 minutes to an hour.

Each month, Park Center serves hundreds of adults with mental illness in employment training and placement, treatment, case management, housing and other support services.
