Position

As VP/Director of Marketing Operations, you will gather, document and prioritize all marketing business requirements across departments of HHP. You will understand what gets executed and why. You will make sure that all marketing assets are delivered on time and within budget. Project management is a core competency, and you know how to collaborate to bring multiple projects to completion. You will report directly to the HHP VP of Marketing.


Qualifications

You should have a University degree and at least three years of experience in marketing and/or public relations for a non-profit or commercial organization (e.g. think tank, the lobbying group, political organization, academic institution). You should be fluent in the realm of political ideas and public intellectual discourse with particular insight to issues defending and promoting free people and free markets. In addition, your written and oral communication skills should be top notch. Marketing savvy and experience in the dynamic online segment are a must. You must be an independent thinker who is able to innovate, produce and execute compelling marketing programs, often on tight deadline through your energy, creativity, relationships, and moxie.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, curate and maintain the marketing calendars for social media, newsletter and donor communications. Ensure that all messaging across marketing assets is consistent and on-brand.
  • Direct teams involved with graphic design, video production, newsletters and general marketing assets and ensure that there are sufficient resources to meet objectives.
  • Identify key vendor partners as needed for outsourced marketing communication vehicles.
  • Create and maintain the marketing budget.
  • Communicate cross-functionally via marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Hootsuite, and Buffer
  • Define, map and document key marketing processes and systems to develop department SOPs.
  • Create new processes that enable the marketing of HHP to be scalable
  • Help bring awareness and support for HHP's programs
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and report that to C-level executives in presentation format.
