We are looking for multiple types of volunteers.
We are looking for someone with a psychology, social work, nursing, pastoral or counseling degree to assist with a monthly support group for grieving children & families. At times you would be working with the children on a craft activity other times you would be working with children & parents in a group setting. Possibility for fee for service work as well.
We are also looking for someone to help with excel sheets, mailings & maintaining records.
We are in need of someone to help with our newsletter
We hoping for volunteers to help with marketing & fundraising events
finally we are looking for camp volunteers for our bereavement camp
each Aug & for our monthly activities.
This is a 1 year commitment. All volunteers must complete a volunteer application as well as clearances. Information can be found at handsholdinghearts.org

We are a non profit, community based bereavement resource for children & their families. We provide a safe environment for children who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. We help manage the emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects that grief brings to our everyday lives. In addition, we will introduce and provide tools to assist with future challenges.
