DOG CARE VOLUNTEER - Friday mornings: 8:30am - 10:30am

ORGANIZATION: Quincy Animal Shelter, Inc.

Walk dogs and provide general loving care and socialization. Help out with other general shelter duties (laundry, sweeping floors, etc).

Ability to commit 2 hours during the same weekly shift (rain or shine) is a requirement. Must be at least 21 y.o., have a valid Driver's license and reliable transportation. The shelter is not accessible by public transportation.

Previous experience with dogs and an ability to work well in a team environment are important.

Description

All animals at Quincy Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for common diseases (heartworm, etc.) and up-to-date on vaccinations. We always needs volunteers to walk dogs, feed cats, clean kennels and cat cages, help with laundry and dishes, administrative and fund-raising.
