Hip-Hop Majorette Dance Assistant Coach - New York

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Friends of MJHS

The SoulDeevas are looking for experienced coaches to join our coaching team and help us develop our new hip-hop majorette dance team in NYC. We are looking to develop two teams: (a) middle school (grades 4 to 8) and (b) high school (grades 9 to 12). Please tell us which team you would be interested in working with.

We will begin team recruitment in early 2018 to give parents a chance to recover from the holidays. Coaches would then be responsible for conducting auditions and coaching their teams - preparing them for performances and competitions.

Practice locations - as of today - would be in Manhattan (14th Street area) for two hours on a Saturday evening (5:30pm-7:30pm). If this schedule does not work for you - please let us know what two hour slot you could work with on a Saturday.

Volunteers who serve faithfully for six months will be eligible for a stipend. We don't anticipate that practice will start officially until February.

We are a small coaching family, but we have a great vision for the young ladies who will become part of the SoulDeevas which includes local and national exposure. We are looking for coaches who can be dedicated to their teams and who can help us put the SoulDeevas and themselves on the map.

Please let us know about your majorette team experience when you apply. Thanks!
