Challenge Air for Kids & Friends will be hosting an all day event for kids with special needs between the ages of 7-21. Volunteers are needed to help escort the 100+ families that will be participating to and from general aviation aircrafts, ensuring not only the safety of the kids and family, but making them feel special along the way! This event is a day of fun for everyone one involved, with all kinds of activities for the kiddos and their families to enjoy. Its a day they wont forget, and neither will you!
Volunteers are also needed on the local Fort Lauderdale Fly Day Committee to help with finding more kids with special needs to expand the event, invite new participants, and help identify potential event sponsors.

Description
Challenge Air hosts approximately 12 unique "Fly Day" events across the country where about 125 physically challenged children, between the ages of 7-21 have the opportunity to experience the wonderful freedom of flight, while lifting their spirits and showing them the possibilities that abound. Through the aviation experience and the interaction of the physically-challenged pilot and child, children who participate in a Challenge Air "Fly Day" are encouraged to realize their full potential despite any limitations they may have. The sky's the limit!
