Thank you for your interest in volunteering with United Way of Central Ohio's Tax Time initiative! Tax Time is a coalition of 30+ partners working to fight poverty by providing our community with access to free, high-quality tax assistance services.
There are plenty of ways to get involved and volunteer! We are currently recruiting volunteers to help operate our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites during the 2018 tax season (early February through late April). Whether you are greeting clients, preparing tax returns or coordinating a tax assistance site, we can guarantee volunteering at VITA sites will be a rewarding experience.
If you are new to Tax Time & VITA sites, here are the typical volunteer roles:
- Tax Preparer
- Site Coordinator
- Greeter
- Quality Reviewer
- Special Events Assistance
