We are seeking volunteers for either a Wednesday or Thursday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to help the Friends of Lovejoy Library sell used books in the Good Buy Bookshop located in Lovejoy Library. This is an ongoing endeavor which supports the purchase of new materials and databases for the Lovejoy Library collection benefiting all SIUE students. We would need someone that could do this periodically (such as two - three dates per month), and not just one time. There is no heavy lifting.
If you live near the SIUE campus or simply love books, please consider joining! Our volunteers that work in the bookshop love talking with students, arranging books, shelving new materials and just hanging out. While the bookshop is located inside, on beautiful days we take the books out on the quadrangle and mingle with the students.
Friends of Lovejoy Library Volunteers receive free parking.

The Good Buy Book Shop has been a wonderful part of The Friends tradition.
