Are you interested in teaching an adult how to read, write or speak English? Attend an informative, dynamic, accredited training that is open to new or experienced tutors. Our volunteer tutors help learners improve their English literacy skills. No foreign language or teaching experience is needed. We offer both remote and in-person tutor training. To provide adult basic education and ESOL training to all members of our community over the age of 18 years. We offer free, one-on-one and group instruction programs while encouraging and assisting our students to become successful and contributing members of our community

Description

The position requires all volunteers to participate in tutor training sessions. They are then assigned a student with whom they will work for a minimum of one session per week to run approximately one and a half hours.
