Learning for Life is currently looking for someone to assist with recruiting and coordinating volunteers for our organization.

Learning for Life currently brings curriculum and outdoor programs to several schools in the St. Louis Metro area including schools from St. Louis Public Schools, Ferguson/Florissant School District, Normandy Collaborative, and Jennings School District.

We are looking for someone to help us expand our volunteer base, so we can have volunteers teaching in the schools we service for a 1-2 hours each week.

Ideally, we would love to have a candidate that has prior experience in volunteer recruitment and coordinating. We are also open to having someone with experience in something related as well. This opportunity would be flexible, but would require 5-10 hours a week.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Description

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness.

For more than a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes - and, through over a century of experience, knows - that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
